James Jefferson Frankum family
taken between May & October of 1886.
Jeff at age 34 is holding son Jack Taylor, age 2,
while wife Sallie holds Martha Ann, age 5 months.
Standing at the rear is George Lee, age 12, and at the far
right is William Henry, age 9. In front is James Jefferson, age 5.
Not pictured is daughter Mary, who died in 1876, daughter Dora
and son Charles Richard, who were not yet born.
The picture on the left is of Tom Qualls and Robert Lee Frankum.
The picture on the right is of Robert Lee Frankum and his
second wife Ebbierilla (Ibil/Ibie).
Tom Qualls was a quasi-relative, who was raised by Robert's
brother Allen Frankum. Tom appears to be a nephew of
Allen's wife Rebecca Qualls. After Allen's death, Tom
lived with Robert's family.
