Hughes Cemetery
Perrysville, Indiana

Hughes Cemetery is not easy to find.  It is tucked away in a pasture
in Vermillion County, Indiana.  From Georgetown, Illinois, go east on Mill Street
for 2.8 miles, then turn left at the Forrest Glen sign.   Stay on the road until it comes to
a "T".  Go east for 5.4 miles.  Turn north on County Road 100W for about 1.5 miles.
Turn left on CR 900 N and continue for about another mile.  Look for a brick house
at the top of a hill.  Just past the brick house will be a lane that appears to lead
back into a pasture.  Go through the first gate and drive toward the next gate.
Just before you reach the next gate, look  to the left and you should see the cemetery.
Go through the gate and drive to the cemetery.  The older burials are within the
fenced area past the cemetery sign.  Several newer burials have been made
outside the cemetery fence.
