Macedonia Baptist Church was the first
Church in Coweta County.
This is the second site. It is located on State Highway 70 (Roscoe Road),
going North out of Newnan. The cemetery is adjacent to the church.

m. (2) July 25, 1875 to Martha Ann Cates
Reasen & Lucretia had 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter.
They lost 3 sons to the Civil War and their daughter at an early age.
Joseph & Hezekiah also fought in the war, but survived and lived
out their lives in Bastrop County, Texas.
It was at Macedonia Baptist Church that Joseph Mobley was
ordained as a Baptist minister.
