72.00 State of Indiana, Pike County: We Silas H. Cate and George Yager swear that we will honestly appraise the personal estate of John Mason, deceased, which may be exhibited to us; so help us God.
George Yager Subscribed and sworn to before me, this 16th day of November, 1866. William Mason, Adm. State of Indiana, Pike County: I, William Mason, Administrator of the estate of John Mason, deceased, swear that the foregoing is a true and complete Inventory of all the Personal Estate of said decedent, which has come to my knowledge; and also of the property taken by the Widow, on the 16th day of November, 1866, so help me God. William Mason (his mark) Subscribed and sworn to before me, this 1st day of December, 1866.

Hamilton, clerk of the sale of the Personal Property of John Mason, deceased, swear that the following Sale Bill is a true account thereof. Robert C. Hamilton Subscribed and sworn to before me, this 17 day of November 1866 William Mason, ADM State of Indiana, Pike County I, William Mason, Administrator of the estate of John Mason deceased, swear that the foregoing Sale Bill is a true account of the sale of the personal Property of the decedent, not taken by the widow. Probate Order book 7 #198 November Term 1867 Comes now Mary Mason and appears for letters of guardianship on the person and property of Huldah Ellen, William T., John and Burrell Mason, minor heirs of John Mason deceased, and said Mary files her bond in the sum of One thousand Dollars with Jesse(?) Fuller and William D. Ferguson, her sureties, which said bond is approved. And the Clerk is ordered to issue letters of guardianship upon her taking the oath required for the faithful execution of her said trust. Page 218: November term 1867 Mary Mason, Guardian of Huldah Ellen Mason, William T. Mason, John Mason and Burrell Mason, minor heirs of John Mason Deceased. Comes now said guardian and asks the court to set apart the rents and profits of the Real Estate of said Wards for the support of said Wards and the court being fully advised in the premices, finds that the same would be for the interest of said Wards. Therefore be it ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that the rents and profits of their said real estate, to-wit: The equal undivided two thirds part of the S. E. gr of N. E. gr and the N.W. gr of the S.E. gr Section4, T.&SR 8W in this county, be and set apart to said guardian for the support of her said wards. The said guardian paying the tax on said real estate. Page 385: June Term 1870 Mary Mason, Guardian of Huldy Ellen Mason, William T. Mason, John Mason and Burrell Mason. Comes now said Guardian and files her accounts current herein showing a balance in her hands due her said Wards, as follows: Amount due Huldy $54.07, due William $56.57, due John $56.57, and due Burrell $51.07. Which accounts current being examined by the Court and found correct, the same is approved and this cause is continued. Page 526: Feb Term 1872 In the matter of the guardianship of the Estate of John Mason Deceased, comes now Mary Cox, formerly Mary Mason, Guardian of said heirs and asked the Court to continue her as said Guardian. The Court being advised in the premises find that said Mary had intermarried with Axly Cox, and that said Axly Cox her husband has filed in Court his written consent that the said Mary may continue to be and act as such Guardian. It is therefore ordered and adjudged that she continue to act as such Guardian. State of Indiana
I, Axly Cox with whom Mary Mason intermarried and now her husband hereby
consent that said Mary continue to act and be the guardian of the heirs of John
Mason late of Pike County Deceased. Feb.
6 1872. Said guardian also files her account current herein showing a balance due William T. $68.26, due Huldy E. $24.07. The balance due the other wards herein to said guardian for their maintenance and it is further ordered by the Court that the rents and profits of the Real Estate belonging to John and Burrell Mason be allowed to said guardian on condition that said guardian take care of said wards and pay the annual taxes on said real estate and this cause is continued.
