No. 1664, In the County Court of
§ Bastrop County,
Texas. TO THE HON. E. H. PERKINS, JUDGE OF THE COUNTY COURT OF BASTROP COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS: This, the application of Nettie Mason, a resident of Bastrop County, Texas, respectfully shows that B. W. Mason is dead; that he died on or about the 20th day of August A.D. 1925, in the County of Bastrop and State of Texas, and that he died intestate; that said deceased was, at the time of his death a resident of the County of Bastrop and State of Texas; That at the time of his death, the said B. W. Mason was seized and possessed of real and personal property. That the personal property was of the probable value of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS and the real property of the probable value of FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS, and that the interest of said Estate requires the immediate appointment of an Administratrix, for the following reasons: FIRST: The crops of the deceased must be gathered and marketed; SECOND: The live stock must be fed and cared for; THIRD: The debts due by said Estate must be paid and such moneys as may be due said estate, if any, must be collected; FOURTH: The rents due on the real estate belonging to the deceased must be collected; and the real estate rented; That your applicant is not disqualified by law to act as Administratrix of said Estate, and that she is the widow of the said B. W. Mason, deceased; that it is not intended, under this temporary administration to dispose of any real estate belonging to the deceased. WHEREFORE your applicant prays the Court that she be appointed Temporary Administratrix of said Estate and that such citation issue, as required by law, and that such appointment, unless contested, at the next regular term of this Court, shall be made permanent. Texas. To the Honorable E. H. Perkins, Judge of said Court: Now comes Nettie Mason, Temporary Administratrix of the Estate of B. W. Mason, deceased, and respectfully herewith presents her account with said Estate, as Temporary Administratrix, as follows, to-wit: 1. Since she qualified as said Temporary Administratrix the following property belonging to said estate has come into her hands: REAL ESTATE: First tract: 100 acres of the Joshua Gray Survey in Bastrop County, Texas. Second tract: 67 ˝ acres of the Joseph Adair Survey in Bastrop County, Texas. PERSONAL ESTATE: (a)
One grey horse mule, about 15 hands high, about 9 years old, named “Aleck”
valued at $100.00 RENTS COLLECTED: James

She has paid the following debts against said Estate: 3. All debts and expenses so far as known to the administrator have been paid; 4. The following property belonging to said estate still remains on hand;

$ 27.01 The Temporary Administratrix herewith presents proper vouchers in support of each item of this account and asks that the account and vouchers be filed with the Clerk of this Court.
The Temporary Administratrix further suggests to the Court that
all of the debts against this Estate have been fully paid; that the deceased, B.
W. Mason was twice married; that by his first wife, Pink Farris, he had three
children, Mary Jane, who is now married to Alf Branum; Susie who is now married
to A. H. McAfee and Henry Thomas Mason; that she had purchased from said three
children all of their interest in the lands and property belonging to said
estate, and that all of the same, including the cash balance, personal property
and lands hereinabove described belongs to herself and her children; that there
is therefore no necessity for a permanent administration, and she therefore
prays that her above account be, in all things, approved and ordered to record,
and that said Temporary administration be finally closed and the Temporary
administratrix discharged. Subscribed and sworn to before me this 7th day of December A.D. 1925. (seal)
