Hezekiah Madison "Mac" Mobley
b. November 26, 1832, in Coweta County, Georgia
m. November 9, 1854 to Sarah Jane Jones, Coweta County, Georgia
d. May 20, 1924, buried Oak Hill cemetery, near McDade, Bastrop County, Texas
He came to Texas from Georgia sometime after his brother Joseph.
Company D, 41st Reg., GA Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee, Coweta County Pinon
Guards. Later transferred to Co. A, 12th Georgia Battalion according to 11/1/1864 muster.
On August 8, 1862, was a private. He was captured at Vicksburg, Mississippi, on July 4, 1863, and paroled there July 6, 1863. He was sick in hospital at close of war.
1910 census, Bastrop County, aged 76, living with son, J.W. Mobley.

d. August 3, 1935, Gonzales, Texas
occupation:  schoolteacher
settled in Southeast part of Texas

3.     Mary Ann Mobley
(Aunt Meann)
b.. January 15, 1860, in Georgia
m. January 2, 1879, Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia, to Micaja Jesse (Cage) Christian before family left Georgia. They moved in 1881 to Texas and settled near Oak Hill, south of McDade.
d. May 17, 1955, aged about 95 years, buried Ridgeway Cemetery, Paige, Texas.
Will was probated in Bastrop County, Texas. She died without issue at Johnson's Nursing Home in Elgin, Texas. Her estate was left to her nephew Burke Harris, 4507 Ave. C, Austin, Texas. With her brother Joseph, she raised the orphan children of their brothers and sisters, including the children of Creasie and their niece Delean.

d. April 2, 1904, Sayersville, Bastrop County, Texas, buried Oak Hill Cemetery
Died while children were small.  The children stayed with their father. Carrie & Tom had 2 sons and 3 daughters.  All three daughters drowned in the Colorado River while swimming.

8.     Joseph Washington Mobley
b. January 30, 1870, Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia
never married
d. October 29, 1947, in Austin, Texas, buried McDade, Texas
With his sister Mary Ann Christian, raised ten children of their brothers and sisters, and niece Delean.
Will probated in Bastrop County, Texas. Administrator of Estate was J.P. Goettal, husband of his niece. All his estate was left to his niece, Mrs. Margaret Goettal, and to his nephew, Noah Harris, Jr. All records in Probate are under the name 'J. W. Mobley, also known as Joe Mobley'.
Listed in 1900 census as a potter.
